Here are a few pics from our Australia trip so far:
We arrived in Cairns, where we took a reef tour on a catamaran. The beach of Cairns is very inviting, but if you go in the water you stand a high chance of dying due to the presence of box jellyfish and man-eating saltwater crocodiles.
We then took a plane to Brisbane, a really lovely city.
From Brisbane, we drove up to the Sunshine Coast, a couple of hours to the north of the city.
We visited beaches as well as the Wildlife HQ zoo, where we got close to some Australian fauna.
The Gold Coast is much more developed that the Sunshine Coast, with loads of resorts and theme parks. We visited the beach, and made the most of our resort.
The Queensland coast is a never-ending series of beautiful beaches. Even in the metropolis of Surfers Paradise, you get the impression that you are on a deserted beach!
We are about to leave Queensland and drive to Sydney. To be continued…
