We had a 9-hour stop over in Hong Kong on our way to Japan, just long enough to get a quick impression of the place. Life-sized comic characters on the street corners, magnificent parks, all surrounded by the South China Sea, Hong Kong has a lot to offer the passing tourist. It was cloudy the day we visited, so we made a plan to come back and see how the city shines in the sunlight one day!
